Senior Captain Sara Krasney

Sara is the daughter of Bob and Lisa Krasney. She has a sister Julia.

She also shares the house with two cats (Peanuts and Popcorn) and two dogs (Pebbles and Rocky).

Her hobbies are northrunning.com, running and folding denim @ Tommy H (she'll demonstrate if you ask, and even if you don't)

She visited Israel in the summer of '06

Spring Track '07 - Sara qualified for state competition in the 400M and 800M and scored points in the high jump. She also ran strong legs on the 4X400 and was a member of the second place 4X800M at the State Coaches Invitational Meet. At the end of the season she was elected captain of the '08 Spring Track Team.
Indoor Track '07 - Sara qualified for state competition in the 1000M and also high jumped for the team.
Cross Country '06 - Sara was running at the #2 spot for the team until injured during the Canton meet. At the end of the season she was elected captain for '07.
Spring Track '06 - Sara was Hockomock League Champion in the 800M, becoming NA's All-Time #3 in the event (2:21.40). She was also a member of the school record-setting 4X800M that placed 2nd in Class B, 5th in the state finals and 7th at the New England Championship. She also demonstrated versatility by clearing 5' in the high jump.
Indoor Track '06 - Sara excelled in mid-distance, placing second in the Hockomock League Meet 1000M. She set a new school record in this event (3:11.30) at the MSTCA Elite Invitational. Sara won the event at the Auerbach freshman/sophomore meet.
Cross Country '05 - Sara was #2 on the team for most of the meets. She rose to the highest level of competition at the Hockomock League Championship by placing 7th as a sophomore, thus gaining her first Hockomock League All-Star honor. The following week she ran 17:33 at Borderland to move further up on the NA all-time Top 10 List.
Spring Track '05 - Sara exploded onto the scene as a mid-distance runner. She placed 5th in the Class B 800M and ran on the school record setting 4X800M at the rocket relays. She was also a member of the school record setting freshman 4X400M and added a 4'8" high jump to demonstrate her versatility.

Coach's Comments : Sara is the undisputed queen of comedy. Her antics keep our team loose, but when it is time to strap on the spikes she is all business. She runs to win, going deep into the well every time out.
