| The
evening of the 19th and morning of the 20th |

| At low tide the remnants of a brick foundation are revealed at Nauset Beach |
The
ocean continues its' assault on man-made structures |

This
serene beach masks the tumult that had occured 6 hours earlier |

Another
man-made object claimed by the sea |

Nauset
Light sends its' beacon out to a stormy ocean |

The
next morning dawn's brightly on Newcombe Hollow |

Biscuit
is the first one to travel the beach this morning. Notice how the winter
berm from a few days ago has now completely disappeared. |

One
of the many large seaclams washed up onto the beach. This one was still
        intact. |

Compare
this picture with the one from 36 hours ago when there was a large stretch
of sand possibly 10' further out. |

The post works its way down the dune face |

The
dune will break apart to replenish the beach |

This
might be the next clay structure to calve from the dune but it has an
odd slice along the base. I would have explored closer but the tide was
rising and there was no beach access close at hand. |

The
        beach sculpture still lives |

I
have watched this clay structure closely since the start of 2003. It has
gotten markedly thinner and now appears that a strong storm could break
        it off. |

Just
a few months ago there was a large berm in front of this. |
