Winners Kevin Gray (22:27) and Jill Lyon (28:50) early in the race

Kevin ran for Iona and was making his first trip back to the course since he ran it at age 7. He grabbed an immediate lead and never had to look back. Jill is just starting her career. With a base of 40+ miles per week she also took off early and never was challenged. She will be running cross country for Barnstable in the fall.

Peter Buffington (CCAC) has run many a road race on the Cape. Here he has a 1992 Osterville shirt. He started running this race in 1989.
Friends Kristen Meahl of Maine and Liz Collins of Westwood are using this race to get ready for their own sports of tennis and lacrosse.
Bill Lord turned 60 earlier this year and kicked serious butt in his age group winning by 3:14 (14th overall at 27:35). .
Brooke Nentwig is staying with a friend in Osterville. She is consulting the course map. While her friend is at work Brooke uses this opportunity tro start getting in shape. She is a two-sport athlete at Bowdoin. Brooke doesn't usually run road races but found this one "Hot but fun!."

Bill Lord (174) is well on his way to an age-group win. He has qualified for and run the last 13 Boston Marathons.
Sean (#111) and James O'Leary (#112) of Osterville stayed together the entire way finishing in 41:40.
Philip Guidrey (#47-39:28) and Jennifer Guidrey (#42-42:41) are together near the start.
