Great Island - Set 2 I apologize for publishing pictures that are larger than screen size, but in doing so it allows you a better look at some of the natural features. |

The
path back to the parking lot |

Stretches
        over 1/2 mile |

| Instead we forge off through the scrub pine. We come out along Cape Cod Bay and head for the small path seen opening onto the edge of a bluff |
A
closer look at the path |

| Once at the edge of the bluff we see a variety of dune and plant formations |
The
sun sparkles off the water as two people stroll along the sand bars to
        which we are headed. |

Another
view from the edge of the bluff |

I
took one path while Arlene prepares to take another. |

Arlene
checks out old boundry markers |

A
kite-boarder plays in the shallow water. In the distance you can see the
PTown Monument. Though I don't know the crow flight distance it would
be over 20 miles by car. |

And
        kicks up a wake |

One
last view at some of the plant species on the walk. |
