Students participate in a combination of required and elective subjects. Among the required units are physical fitness, weight training, pickleball, ultimate frisbee and cooperative games. Electives include yoga, basketball, volleyball, tennis, floor hockey and softball. The emphasis is on the development of knowlege and skills that will help the student become confident in a variety of activities. The ultimate goal is to create a lifestyle that includes regular participation in physical activity and that promotes physical well being. The course includes daily physical activity and each unit of instruction contains at least one written assignment. This course meets school expectations #'s 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 |
