A tight pack on the corner
Michelle takes the lead
It was a three girl race until Willard broke it open on the last straightaway
Opening lap - men
The last-minute pacer for men (in orange) made all the difference. He brought them through the 400 and 800 in perfect time. Without a pacer the girls started off running tacticly, i.e. slowly. The girls' overall time suffered while Jonathan Riley broke the men's record.
Lowery pushed the third lap which set up Chris Solinsky and Riley.
Tom Ratcliffe - KIMbia founder
Chris leads on the last back straight.
But training partner Jonathan finds another gear. His time (3:57.07) was his lifetime PR and first mile PR in eight years.
Emily films from a high vantage point.
One happy runner. It was good luck to be back running in his home state.
Women's top 4
Jonathan is pumped.
chasingKIMbia guru Matt Taylor gets a moment of rest.
